The problem

Local orders break between checkout and the door.

Checkout tools sell slots without seeing the route. Delivery tools plan routes without seeing what was promised. Your team fills the gap with calls, re-slots and refunds, and your customers notice.

Where local promises break

  3. 03Wrong store

Door

The solution

One system makes the promise and keeps it.

The slot a shopper books, the store that prepares it, the route that delivers it and every customer message come from the same order record, so nothing gets retyped between tools.

Business value

Sell what you can deliver. Deliver what you sold. Spend less doing it.

  • Win the checkout

Sell more of what you can deliver. Every shopper sees the delivery and pickup options their address and cart can actually get, with real dates and slots, before they pay.

  • Promise only what you can keep

Set the capacity each location can handle. Capacity, cutoffs and prep time are set for every location and slot, you see remaining capacity as orders book, and each order goes to the location that made the promise.

  • Keep it at the door and the counter

Fewer miles, fewer calls, fewer missed windows. Optimized routes, a driver app with proof of delivery, and a pickup workflow that tells customers the moment their order is ready.

The platform

The Scroll records every promise. The Engine keeps it.

The Scroll is the live record of every local order, from the promise at checkout to the proof at the door. The Engine acts on it with your rules, route optimization and live data, and labels every action so you can see which is which.

  • Nothing slips on peak days.

Every order and delivery update is handled in turn and kept safe, so your busiest days don't drop orders.

  • No one job slows the rest.

Routing, tracking, workflows and reporting each run on their own, so a rush in one doesn't slow the others.

  • Your rules decide who delivers.

Orders go to stores and drivers by the rules and policies you set, and each order can be accepted by only one driver.

Where we're going

ScrollEngine is building the intelligence layer for retail and logistics.

Today, the Engine follows your rules and answers your questions. Next, it suggests. Then, with your approval, it acts, one bounded job at a time: exceptions first, then pickup, dispatch and customer updates, and later shipping.

Our mission metric: promises kept.

AI

Math makes the promise. AI helps you keep it.

Local delivery is a coordination job, and it grows with every store. AI can take on that coordination, but only from a record of what was promised and inside rules you set.

Slots, routes and ETAs run on rules and optimization you can inspect. Ask Engine (early access) answers "where is it and why is it late?" from live data, read-only and within each user's permissions. Agents that propose a fix and act only after you approve come next, and each carries its status on our roadmap. You set the rules.

Before you start

Questions merchants ask before they try it.

How much does ScrollEngine cost?

We quote every network for its stores and how it delivers: the number of locations, your monthly local orders, delivery, pickup or both, and your drivers. Request a quote and we'll send one, or book a demo to see ScrollEngine set up like your stores first. Running a single store on Shopify? You can try the Shopify app free for 7 (as of Sep 2026) days.

How long does setup take?

Setup is settings, not engineering. Add your locations, delivery zones or pickup hours, slots and capacity, then switch on the cart widget; a guided setup assistant walks you through it. Maps, address checks and ETAs run on your own Google Maps Platform key, so have one ready. Want a hand? Book a demo and we'll map your setup with you.

Will it work with my theme?

It's built to work without code. The delivery and pickup chooser is added to your theme's cart, cart drawer and product page for you, and you style it in a no-code configurator instead of hiring a theme developer. In a demo we'll show it on a store like yours, and on Shopify you can try the app on your own theme free for 7 (as of Sep 2026) days.

Do I need Shopify Plus?

No. Customers choose delivery or pickup and book a date and slot in the cart on any Shopify plan. On Shopify Plus you can also show the date and slot picker inside checkout.

What if I have many stores?

That's the job ScrollEngine was built for. Each location gets its own zones, hours, slots, capacity, cutoffs and prep time; location rules send each order to the store that serves it; and roles can be scoped by location, so a store manager sees only their store. Running more than one Shopify store? One login switches between them in the ScrollEngine web dashboard. From 4 locations, book a demo and we'll map your network with you.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Self-serve plans are billed monthly through Shopify, and uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin cancels the subscription. Our billing and cancellation terms explain what happens to charges already billed.

Is my team's data safe with you?

You give each user a role with only the permissions they need, scoped by location and zone, and every order keeps a full, time-stamped delivery history. Our trust center lists every control in place today and the next steps on our security roadmap.

See what ScrollEngine would cost for your stores.

Tell us about your locations and how you deliver, and we'll send a quote. Rather see it first? Book a 20-minute demo and we'll show you ScrollEngine set up like your stores.
