Routes & Dispatch
Optimized multi-driver routes, planned around your time windows, shifts and vehicles.
ScrollEngine plans optimized routes for every driver around time windows, shifts, breaks, traffic and vehicle capacity, then lets you dispatch, adjust routes live and print manifests. Automated dispatch is in early access.

The problem
Routes planned by hand miss the windows they were built for.
A dispatcher sorts tomorrow's stops on a spreadsheet and a map. Time windows, shifts and van capacity live in their head, so the plan breaks as soon as a driver calls in sick or a stop runs long. Every late stop after that is a promise the route couldn't keep.
How it works
From the promise to the proof, step by step.
- 01Optimization
Plan every driver's route in one go.
Route optimization assigns the day's stops across multiple drivers inside every time window, shift, break and vehicle capacity, with traffic and tolls, and previews distance and time before you commit.

- Route planner with constraintsLive
- 02Rule
Get the routes to your drivers.
Assign routes directly, or post open shipments and routes to a job board where drivers claim them. Automated dispatch, in early access, offers each order to nearby drivers in waves, ranked by cost and load, with a live board in the ScrollEngine web dashboard.
- Driver job boardLive
- Automated dispatchEarly access
- 03You
Change the plan while it runs.
Edit a route after it starts, move a stop up or down, and ETAs are recalculated. A multi-route editor for moving stops between routes on one map is in early access.
- Route lifecycle and live editingLive
- Multi-route editor on one mapEarly access
- 04You
Load, label and go.
Print labels and route manifests. Batching nearby orders into one trip, and a vehicle load-fit check that works when product dimensions are set, are in early access.

Under the hood
What's under the hood.
Several route solvers stand behind every plan, and the Engine picks the lowest-cost one that fits.
LiveWave dispatch runs with a database rule that makes double-booking impossible.
Early access
What to measure
Metrics we define before we promise them.
- Stops per route. Delivered stops per completed route, by store and day.
- Route-planning minutes per day. Minutes your team spends building and adjusting routes each day. Instrument it before comparing periods.
- On-time rate. Deliveries completed before the end of their booked window, as a share of all local deliveries. Measured in a Promise Audit.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Route optimization software decides which driver takes which stops, and in what order, so every delivery lands inside its window at the lowest cost. ScrollEngine optimizes routes across multiple drivers with time windows, shifts, breaks, traffic and vehicle capacity.
It's mathematical optimization, built for exactly this job: several solvers, from quick waypoint optimization for a short run to a multi-vehicle solver for a full day, and the Engine picks the lowest-cost one that fits. We label it Optimization, not AI.
Automated dispatch, in early access, offers each order to nearby drivers in waves, ranked by cost and load, with electric vehicles first; whichever driver accepts it gets it, and a database rule makes double-booking impossible. It's rules-based and runs in the ScrollEngine web dashboard.
Yes. Post open shipments or routes to the driver job board and drivers claim them in the driver app. You can still assign any route directly.
Yes. Phone, marketplace and other orders, including orders from Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce and BigCommerce, are planned with the rest of the day's stops.
For the load-fit check, yes: it confirms an order fits the vehicle when product dimensions are set, and it's in early access. Routes still plan around each vehicle's capacity without it.
