The Shopify Local Delivery Tools You Actually Need
Most Shopify stores need five local delivery tools: zones and rates, a date and time slot picker with limits…
Company news
The new scrollengine.com describes ScrollEngine as what it is: a local fulfillment platform for retailers with stores, from the slot booked at checkout to proof of delivery, with every capability labelled by status.
We've rebuilt scrollengine.com around one idea: every local order carries a promise, a store, a date and a window, and a retailer should be able to make that promise at checkout and keep it at the door. The new site describes the whole platform that does that work, and labels every capability with where it stands today.
The site now covers the full chain in one place: delivery and pickup slots at checkout, the rules that send each order to the right location, route planning for your own drivers, the driver app, live tracking and customer updates, workflows and reports. It also has a trust center that lists the security and privacy controls in place today, and the next steps on our security roadmap.
The pickup and delivery tools you run every day aren't going anywhere. We're building more around them.
Our app on the Shopify App Store, listed as Local Delivery + Pickup Date:S (as of Sep 2026), keeps working the way it does today. You keep your plan and your price. There's nothing to migrate and nothing to reinstall. New capabilities ship to Shopify merchants first, in the app you already use.
Because you should know what you're buying. Every capability on the site carries one of four labels: Live (available today), Early access (available now to some accounts; availability can depend on your plan or account), Building (in development, with a committed quarter) or Vision (where we're headed, with no date yet).
We also call things by their true names. Route optimization Live is math that finds an optimized plan inside your constraints, so we call it optimization. Automated dispatch Early access offers orders to nearby drivers in waves, by rule. Ask Engine Early access, our AI operations assistant, answers questions about your live operation, and it reads your data without ever changing it, so nothing happens without you.
If you run one store, or a few, on Shopify: nothing changes in how the app works. The site now explains each job the app does, such as delivery dates, store pickup, route planning and the driver app, with the settings you control and guides for the built-in Shopify options, so you can see exactly what ScrollEngine adds to your store.
If you run a network of stores: we now start with a Promise Audit. Send us 30–90 days of orders, and in two weeks you'll have your Promise-Kept Rate, the share of local orders that met their promise, by store, slot and zone, along with where promises break and what the broken ones cost. From there, we prove it in one region before a network rollout. Our enterprise page explains how that works.
We've served merchants since 2021 (as of Sep 2026), with 2,000+ merchants trust us (as of Oct 2026) today, and we're glad you're here for what comes next.
Book a demo and we'll walk you through the platform set up like your stores, or request a quote for your locations and how you deliver.
