Controls

Governance: in place today, dated where it isn't.

In place

  • Role-based access control (RBAC) with custom roles, scoped by location and zone
  • Separate access to the dashboard, the driver app and store tools
  • Full delivery history on every order and route
  • Built for peak days: every order is handled in turn and kept safe, and no one job slows the rest
  • A trust center that lists every control in place and the next steps on our security roadmap

Implementation

How a rollout runs.

  1. 01

    Promise Audit, two weeks

Send 30–90 days of orders. Get your Promise-Kept Rate (PKR) by store, slot and zone, where promises break, and what broken promises cost. PKR is the share of local orders that met their promise: a delivery that arrived inside its booked window, or a pickup order marked ready before its window opened.

  2. 02

    One-region proof

10–20 locations in one region, pickup, delivery or both, with success criteria we agree in writing before we start.

  3. 03

    Network rollout

Region by region, with the same named onboarding lead. One person owns your setup from audit to rollout: locations, capacity, rules, drivers and notifications.

  4. 04

    Monthly review

Your Promise-Kept Rate by store, reviewed every month with your operations team.

One-region proof

Start with one region.

Scope: 10–20 locations in one region, pickup, delivery or both.

Success criteria, agreed first: for example Promise-Kept Rate, on-time rate, ready-before-window rate and WISMO contacts per 100 orders.

What you'll need: a Shopify or Shopify Plus store, your locations and hours, drivers or pickup staff, and a Google Maps Platform key.

What you'll see during the proof: every driver's scorecard, attendance and activity log in the ScrollEngine web dashboard, so your team can follow the region day by day. We measure the success criteria with the method we agree up front.

See every driver live, and how every day went.

Your operations team sees it all in the ScrollEngine web dashboard.

See every driver live: on a trip, heading back, available at the store or idle, and whether their app is online. Filter to the deliveries that are on time, at risk, delayed or have stopped sharing location.

A scorecard for every driver: deliveries, distance driven, time on the road, utilization, ratings and on-time rate, with fleet averages and one-click export.

Daily attendance with check-in times, and an activity log of every log-in, route start, delivery, failed stop and return trip.

FAQ

Questions

Do you have SOC 2, SSO or an uptime SLA?

They're on the security roadmap in our trust center: SOC 2 Type I, MFA, a status page and uptime SLA, and SSO/SAML, each with a date beside it once it's committed. In place today: roles scoped by location and zone and a full delivery history on every order. We start where your security review allows: a Promise Audit on an export of your orders, or a one-region proof.

We're not on Shopify. Can we still work with you?

Yes. Start with a Promise Audit on an export of your orders from any system. ScrollEngine integrates with Shopify, Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and other commerce platforms.

We already run an OMS or ERP. Where does ScrollEngine fit?

Keep it. ScrollEngine handles the local leg: slots, location choice for local orders, routes, drivers and customer updates. Orders come in through Shopify, CSV or API; events go out through signed webhooks; API access is on request. We map the flow with your team before you commit, so ScrollEngine fits the systems you already run.

We need DoorDash or Uber overflow when our drivers are full. Can you do that?

ScrollEngine is built to run your stores and your own drivers: optimized routes for several drivers, the driver app with proof of delivery, and live tracking for every customer. Courier overflow for US deliveries is on our roadmap.

How do we know ScrollEngine will pay off?

Measure first. The Promise Audit returns your Promise-Kept Rate by store, slot and zone, where promises break and what they cost, in two weeks. The one-region proof then runs against success criteria we agree in writing before we start, so both sides know what counts as working.

We also sell through marketplaces. Does that work?

Yes. ScrollEngine runs delivery and pickup for orders on your own site and in your stores. Marketplace orders stay with the marketplace; if you want them in the same operation, they can come in by CSV import today.

Can you handle alcohol delivery?

ScrollEngine runs the delivery and keeps the proof. Every delivery is proved with a photo, a signature and notes, kept on the order's full delivery history, and each store can make photo or signature proof mandatory. Your driver checks ID at the door, and driver checklists (early access) can add a confirmation step the driver completes before marking the order delivered.

How do you handle substitutions?

Your team edits the order in Shopify admin before it's prepared, and ScrollEngine syncs order edits in real time, so the updated order is the one your store prepares and your driver delivers.

Can we see ScrollEngine before we commit to an audit?

Yes. Book a demo and we'll show you ScrollEngine set up like one of your regions, on a demo store with synthetic data: capacity per store, location rules, routes, the driver app and the tracking your customers see.

Who is ScrollEngine built for?

Retailers with 10–150 locations that sell scheduled local delivery and store pickup, often with their own drivers: grocery, specialty food, bakery and café, florist and meal-kit groups, and omnichannel brands. ScrollEngine runs the local leg for every store in the network, from the slot at checkout to proof at the door.
