Platform

The Scroll records every promise. The Engine keeps it.

ScrollEngine is a local fulfillment platform for retailers with stores. The Scroll is the live record of every local order and its promise. The Engine offers the slot, picks the store, plans the route and updates the customer, and labels every action it takes.

The ScrollEngine layers

The Scroll

The system of record for local promises.

Every local order carries a promise: a store, a date, a window. The Scroll holds that promise from the moment a shopper books it: the method, the location, the date, the slot and the delivery coordinates. Then it records everything that happens against it: each preparation step, the route, the ETA, the arrival, the proof and every message. Every order carries the same delivery data, whichever channel it came from.

  • Proof of delivery, photos and signatures attached to the order.
  • The same record behind the cart, checkout, POS, admin, driver app and tracking page.

The Engine

Every action labelled: rule, optimization, AI or agent.

Math makes the promise. AI helps you keep it. You set the rules.

  • Rule
    What it is
A policy you set, applied the same way every time.
    Example
Close the 4–5 pm slot at 12 orders. Send ZIP 10012 to Store 3.
    Status
    Live
  • Optimization
    What it is
Math that finds an optimized plan inside your constraints.
    Example
Plan 14 stops across 2 drivers, inside every time window.
    Status
    Live
  • AI · Early access
    What it is
A model that reads your data and advises. It can't change anything.
    Example
Ask Engine explains why R-18 is late, with links to the records.
    Status
    Early access
  • Agent · Vision
    What it is
AI you allow to act on one named job, under your rules, after you approve.
    Example
Exception Agent will propose moving 2 stops and draft the customer message.

Under the hood

The Engine room.

The machinery behind every promise, stated plainly and labelled.

  • Route optimization across several solvers, from quick waypoint optimization for a short run to a multi-vehicle solver for a day with time windows, shifts, breaks and vehicle capacity. The Engine picks the lowest-cost one that fits.

    Live
  • Dispatch that offers each order to nearby drivers in waves, ranked by cost and load, EVs first. A database rule makes double-booking impossible.

    Early access
  • An in-house 3D load-fit check confirms the order fits the vehicle, when product dimensions are set.

    Early access
  • Role-based access control (RBAC) with custom roles, scoped by location and zone.

FAQ

Questions

Is ScrollEngine a Shopify app or a platform?

Both. ScrollEngine integrates with Shopify, Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and other commerce platforms, and on Shopify it works in the storefront, checkout, admin and point of sale. Underneath, the engine that runs your locations, slots, routes, drivers and workflows doesn't depend on Shopify. Phone and marketplace orders can come in by CSV or API, and operations teams work in a standalone dashboard.

Can I use ScrollEngine without Shopify?

Yes. ScrollEngine integrates with Shopify, Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and other commerce platforms. The engine that runs your locations, routes, drivers and workflows works the same for every channel, and phone or marketplace orders can come in by CSV too.

What's the difference between a rule, optimization and AI?

A rule is a policy you set, such as a slot capacity. Optimization is math that finds an optimized plan, such as a route. AI is a model that reads and advises; ours, in early access, reads your data and never changes it. We label every action so you always know which one acted.

What is the Scroll?

The Scroll is the live, time-stamped record of every local order and its promise: the slot, the store, the route, the ETA, the proof and every message. It is how you can see whether a promise was kept.

Does the Engine act on its own?

It acts on the rules and workflows you set, and every action is labelled. Our AI today reads and advises, and nothing changes without you. An agent that acts only after your approval, Exception Agent, is on our roadmap; its status and any committed quarter are listed on our vision page.

Where does my team work?

Inside Shopify admin, or in a standalone dashboard with a store switcher and roles scoped by location and zone. The live driver map, driver scorecards, automated dispatch (early access) and Ask Engine (early access) are in the standalone ScrollEngine web dashboard. Drivers use the ScrollEngine driver app for iOS and Android.
