Set up pickup time slots

To offer pickup slots, open the location's calendar on the Store Pickup tab, set slot length and hours, add capacity, then check the slots in the cart.

Available on: ProLast reviewed

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open the Store Pickup tab

Go to Shipping calendar, open the calendar that covers the store and choose the Store Pickup tab. Pickup slots are separate from delivery slots.

  2. Step 2: Choose your pickup days

Turn on each day customers can collect. Every day has its own settings, so weekends can run different hours from weekdays.

  3. Step 3: Set slot length and hours

Choose how long each pickup slot lasts, for example 30 minutes, and the hours slots run, for example 10 am to 6 pm. Keep slots inside the store's pickup hours.

  4. Step 4: Add capacity

Set a capacity for each slot and day, per store; you see remaining capacity as orders book. Base it on how many orders your counter can hand over in one slot.

  5. Step 5: Set prep time and a cutoff

Set how much notice the store needs to pick and pack an order, and the time after which same-day pickup closes. See Set cutoffs, prep time and blackout dates.

  6. Step 6: Check the slots in your cart

Save, then open your storefront in a private window, choose pickup and the store, and check the dates and slots match what you set.

Before you start

The store needs pickup turned on, with its hours and time zone set: see Set up pickup locations and hours.

Good to know

  • Pickup capacity is separate from delivery capacity, so a full delivery day doesn't affect the counter.
  • Prep time, cutoffs and blackout dates work the same way for pickup as for delivery: see Set cutoffs, prep time and blackout dates.
